Next Health primarily targets health-focused, affluent, adults who are deeply invested in wellness optimization and recovery services. They position themselves to Executives, for example, offering to help them reverse their biological age, improve body composition, and prevent disease through very highly priced preventative diagnostics (such as full body scans for $14,000). So, while some of their core services overlap with BHC (hormone testing, peptides, medical weight loss), they actively promote many more premium, “nice to have” lifestyle services – such as cryotherapy, ozone therapy and $1200 NAD drips.

BHC, is positioned to make longevity medicine accessible and affordable, with the founder’s core mission being to help people get off medications rather than stay on them for life. While the common goal of longevity is at its foundation, the offering is much more about clinical solutions to the challenges faced on the path to longevity, than premium/lifestyle offerings for those with very high disposable incomes.

As Cadence sets the path for the future, we may explore incorporating some of the premium lifestyle offerings as part of a membership or recurring revenue structure to particular demographics, particularly if there is an acquisition target that has achieved this in a replicable way, but we currently believe the market opportunity that BHC has tapped into – a mid-level income, with a demographic seeking to solve for true symptoms – is a sweet spot. You can get more of a sense of this from our working document, Longevity Mapping, which we will continue to build upon.
